This amazing photo by Phil Brown (all rights reserved) captures the normally mellow Charlie literally leaping into the air as Charlie Kelly contests a sprint in 1974.  Charlie's response is in dramatic contrast the the bemused pipe-smoker and spouse to his right and the too-cool-for-school roadie in tube socks to his left.  It seems that Charlie had some "skin in the game" since Charlie Kelly was rocking a newly-patented Cunningham magnesium seatpost.  That and Charlie Kelly is clearly rocking it!
